Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #53 - Thank You

Monday mojo, Thursday dares.... Is it Friday yet? Haha! It has been a busy week here so this is the 1st time I've been able to sit down and craft in the new year. My son started at a new day care on Tuesday which gives us a new routine to adjust to. So far so good and everyone is happy! I've even been getting to work earlier which, as anyone who knows me well can attest, is a small miracle in and of itself! I have a reputation for being, um, fashionably late, to just about everything. Though I didn't officially make any resolutions, I feel like this would be one of the areas I could use improvement in so I'm actually quite pleased with myself. Let's see how long it lasts...

Another thing I would like to see myself put more effort into in 2011 is sending cards for a variety of occasions, other than the typical birthday and major holidays. And maybe even send some for no reason at all, but just because. The Dare To Be Sassy Thursday #53 challenge over at Sassy Studio Designs was to create a thank you card. I thought it would be cool to make a card to send to one of my friends just thanking them for being themselves and making my life brighter. I used the sketch from Mojo Monday #172 as my layout, combined with a SSD digital image called Circle Cameo 4. With its layers of sherbet colored papers, I think this card will make the recipient smile too! Not a bad way to start off a new year, huh?
